Francisco Paulino Hermenegildo Teódulo Franco y Bahamonde (4 December 1892 – 20 November 1975), known simply as Francisco Franco, was a Spanish dictator, military general and head of state of Spain from October 1936 (as a unified nation from 1939 onwards), and de facto regent of the nominally restored Kingdom of Spain from 1947 until his death in November 1975.

Edwin Hoernle (1883–1952), German writer and politician, who helped politicize the fairy tale during the Weimar Republic. In 1918 he became one of the founders of the Communist Party and a prominent leader in the revolutionary educational movement.

Minar-e-Pakistan is a tall minaret in Iqbal Park Lahore, built in commemoration of the Pakistan Resolution. The minaret reflects a blend of Mughal and modern architecture, and is constructed on the site where on March 23, 1940.

Alfons Maria Mucha (24 July 1860 – 14 July 1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, known best for his distinct style. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs.
