Salam. Today is the first day in new year of Islamic Calendar. 1st Muharam or Awal Muharam is the public holiday in Malaysia.

This is the logo of Maal Hijrah Celebration in Malaysia. Muslims all over the world were commemorating the flight of Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina to escape persecution in 622 AD, a move which was strategically engineered with creativity, sound knowledge and faith in Allah.
